I knew from last season we'd do fine in this league, looking at the shit Sky was doling out, and continues to dole out, on a weekly basis.

I never in my wildest dreams thought we'd ever come close to the summit though

We looked outclassed at times in our first three games, however should still have taken 4 points. We took 3.

Since then, we've clearly been better than every team we've come up against. Having no strikers let us down against Norwich, and Forest was our third game of the week, yet we were still the better side.

Apart from the last twenty mins against Brentford and the first hour against Boro I have not seen a game where we haven't been the better side, and quite comfortably as well.

I have been watching the Blades since 1967 and I can honestly say that some of the football we played today was the best I've ever seen.

I feel Cardiff are the only team I could stand back and say yeah they were the better side and deserved the win. Apart from them no one has outplayed us fully.

I genuinely think that (currently) we are one of, if not THE best footballing side in the division. We have nothing to fear from anyone. There is a long way to go, but with a quarter of the season gone, we are legitimate promotion contenders and, despite what the deluded S6 wankers say, we are there on merit.

Got to say the movement both on and off the ball is incredible to watch. We have all the confidence and ability to pull teams into all sorts of positions. How long have we waited for this?? Far too long.

Ask a question?: how does our team get better in the JTW? We NEED a quality striker - but that isn't going to happen.

if CW & AK can juggle our strikers effectively then who knows...........

I agree 100% with this, we didn’t deserve to lose against boro, Norwich or forest by the way....I’ll keep saying it we are a very good team and now a very good squad..life as a Blade is really really good

Wholeheartedly agree with all of this, we need to be sharper around the oppositions area but we aren't going to sign a striker who will go straight into the match day squad as that would cost about 5 million.

There are few teams in this division AND the division above that play as well as a team as we do. And Wilder and Knill must take a lot of credit for that. That's not to say we're as good as some of the sides in the division above, but that we are more of a cohesive unit than most, we're more UNITED.

No didn't see that game so can't comment, but all our home games, the televised away games and the ones where I have been able to pick up a stream we have been the better side apart from the first hour at Boro where we gave them too much respect early on, I think if we played Boro now, home or away, it would be a very different game.

I think that we optimists who were ridiculed at the start of the season for our views should keep our little club exclusive. All the rabble who were touting avoiding relegation as a successful target should be made to wait a bit longer before being allowed to jump on our bandwagon, and that's only if they do a bit of grovelling first!
