Anyone seen any other team in this division...

Nope.

We looked outclassed at times in our first three games, however should still have taken 4 points. We took 3.

Since then, we've clearly been better than every team we've come up against. Having no strikers let us down against Norwich, and Forest was our third game of the week, yet we were still the better side.

5 points clear of 7th
another clean sheet , goal keeper doing ok
another entertaining display
wednesday less points from relegation than the gap behind us

No. Simply, no.

I genuinely think that (currently) we are one of, if not THE best footballing side in the division. We have nothing to fear from anyone. There is a long way to go, but with a quarter of the season gone, we are legitimate promotion contenders and, despite what the deluded S6 wankers say, we are there on merit.

God I love Chris Wilder :D

nope, absolutely outstanding team football, harass the feck out of the opposition, get the ball back and play with speed and purpose, couple of mentions, obviously duffy, but thought CCV was excellent, but i must say the signing of the season for me is stevens, absolute class again today, and not just bombing forward, defensively sound too

Class that he's twice the player (£5m) reach is yet cost nothing!

It's just so entertaining at the moment. Not saying it's our best team for however long but it's the best football I've seen and I've never seen so many players on form at once

Apart from the last twenty mins against Brentford and the first hour against Boro I have not seen a game where we haven't been the better side, and quite comfortably as well.
You didn't go to Cardiff then ;)

I have been watching the Blades since 1967 and I can honestly say that some of the football we played today was the best I've ever seen.
Likewise.
I've been saying for a while that this is the best United team I've ever seen.

Not necessarily the best players but the best team

Are you forgetting the Cardiff game because I thought at 2-0 they sat back

We are a truly excellent team, the best Blades team I can remember seeing.

Make no mistake, we are a genuine promotion contender.

..who plays better football as a team than us?

Cos I haven't.
I keep getting told The Massive do, I've only seen them play once though, and I'm not sure they were talking about football to be honest!

no, not SEEN anyone better - Cardiff out muscled us with power and pace up top (apparently) and Boro out played us for 30 minutes in the 1st half. That's it really

Ask a question?: how does our team get better in the JTW? We NEED a quality striker - but that isn't going to happen.

if CW & AK can juggle our strikers effectively then who knows...........

I agree 100% with this, we didn’t deserve to lose against boro, Norwich or forest by the way....I’ll keep saying it we are a very good team and now a very good squad..life as a Blade is really really good

Wholeheartedly agree with all of this, we need to be sharper around the oppositions area but we aren't going to sign a striker who will go straight into the match day squad as that would cost about 5 million.

There are few teams in this division AND the division above that play as well as a team as we do. And Wilder and Knill must take a lot of credit for that. That's not to say we're as good as some of the sides in the division above, but that we are more of a cohesive unit than most, we're more UNITED.

No didn't see that game so can't comment, but all our home games, the televised away games and the ones where I have been able to pick up a stream we have been the better side apart from the first hour at Boro where we gave them too much respect early on, I think if we played Boro now, home or away, it would be a very different game.

Nice to see at last more Blades fans waking up to the reality of us being promotion rather than relegation candidates!

I think that we optimists who were ridiculed at the start of the season for our views should keep our little club exclusive. All the rabble who were touting avoiding relegation as a successful target should be made to wait a bit longer before being allowed to jump on our bandwagon, and that's only if they do a bit of grovelling first!
