Anyone else worrying about Saturday?

I'm worried about Saturday as the Mrs will have been away for 4 days and the house will be a tip.

Football wise why be worried we're only 3 points off top! Saturday will be when the Promotion train begins it's journey. By the time Saturday comes around I'm sure we will see a different side to that at Gillingham, if not then I may become a little worried.

Not worried at all

Chezzy aren't as good as they were last year

Chesterfield will be aiming for 5th or 6th this season ............................... from the bottom that is ;)

When NA came on board I was optimistic. Signing Woolford and Billy made me less so (never really a fan of returning players, hope to be proved wrong), Saturdays result was like last season, when teams terrorized us, so I am back at the point I was last season, take no game for granted and every team in this league, on their day, could beat us.

I want NA to play players in position, he should know where they play best after watching all of last season's DVD's (I am sure he has), and watching training sessions, pre-season and the fiasco at Gillingham. Last nights last gasp winner won't have filled anyone with confidence.

I am a Blade for life, have been for 45 years or so, and just hope that things start to click into place and the goals start going in (for us!)

I can see it being a hard game, but not worried because I know the match will have the best fans in this division cheering the team on. UTB

We were weak in the air last week. We've signed a centre half at last to deal with that. Might play into our hands if they go all Route One on us.

We'll be shite at something else this week.

Getting overrun in midfield, and squandering chances when we do get them is what it says in my crystal ball.

Long term I see us rising up the League though.

We're like my car at the moment; soon as I get something fixed something else breaks.

With the state of our back four* I'd worry if we were up against Worksop town.
*Make that back 5

No.

But I will be happier when Harris, Flynn and in particular Done are available for selection again.

I worry about new members who post OP's like this.

Oh well, excuse me. And there I was thinking people could express their opinions on here.

Should I ask for your permission in the future?

Tbf WWF's post could've been a welcome-to-the-forum let's-take-the-piss type of post, or it could've been more dismissive.

I don't know which was intended - and if people start going around explaining and justifying themselves then somehow it's less enjoyable.

One of those irony is hard to spot type situations?

Chessy have been stripped of most of their best players over the summer & many see them as relegation candidates this time round. They've just been beat in the league cup by a side that scraped its place in the league last year, holding on by their fingertips.

Nah, whatever our evident failings right now, I'm not gonna spend time worrying about Chessy.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not worrying about it either. But I said b4 Gillingham game they could be dark horses, and Chessy beat barnsley 3-1 on saturday and are also not to be underestimated IMHO.

He will have analysed the Gillingham goals by now and realise that a few decent balls into our box may cause havoc.
TBH was expecting that from Morecambe last night but we prevailed.
