Anyone else nervous about the transfer window and what may happen?

I'm sure Warnock will look at last seasons experience where he rocked the boat with the people who came in.

Is it better to leave alone? Almost what Jags said last week.

I think some fans will be dissappointed if we don't bring in a couple of big names though.

Looking at the recent stategy of bringing in youngsters with a hunger rather than big time charlies it's the way it may go.

For every Keef you may suffer a Horse and Cullip - so what do people think?

I think our current squad may well keep us up but only through playing each game like a cup tie. The problem comes at the beginning of next season when the "cup-tie" approach starts to disappear. Although I'd be more than happy to see this squad continue to surpass expectations, I think one or two "big-time Charlies" might need to be introduced gradually to swing the quality:blood&guts ratio in favour of quality.

Just my thoughts. :)

THe only nerves are what Warnocl might do with the money. FOr every good signing he makes there are two or three turkeys. Not convinced that the 'cup game' approach will work in the 2nd half of the season. Just because we have done sides once doesn't mean we will do it again, teams learn quick at this level ask West Ham. What comes in has to be better than what is already here, otherwise no point. Personally I would like to see just two signings, a midfield player who can keep it and prompt us (Danny Murphy type) and a forward who can find the net. Anything else is just going to be padding!!
