We’re in the driving seat and we’re about to do what Sheffield United do best and not just finish 7th but finish 8th behind Millwall, top that off with pigs winning 5-0 at Sunderland with some freakish injuries and 3 sendings off for the Mackems I can see this being a depressing few days….
Someone fill me with some sort of positivity because Roy’s views from Fulham certainly didn’t fill me with confidence!

I'll do it.
Sunderland will only have 2 sent off.

Fuckin ell!! what's the opposite of Carlsberg scenarios?

Sunderland win 2 nil. Bannan sent off. Gregory limps off.

Preston have only lost 4 at home so far this season...

Nah, I thought our season was over about six months ago, and now here we are despite all the injuries. Still feels like we're playing with house money and the worst case scenario is we're just in this division again next season 🤷‍♂️ Bring it on.

I'm having nightmares about the commentator greeting Mitrovic's hat trick with the words "and it's a new Championship scoring record for Fulham!!"

Saying that, the footballing gods will probably smile on us tomorrow, for the simple reason that they are preparing a much harsher kick in the bollocks for us at Wembley.

I guess I'm a bit nervous about it, but it's the last game of the (normal) season, its always something to look forward to whether you have anything to play for or not. I guess I'm looking forward to it more than anything, the Lane will be rocking if we're playing well, usually that spurs us on. I can only see a positive outcome if we get in a position where the crowd are well up for it

I wish I could feel like this but once you're in and it's in your own hands, it will feel like a disappointed if we don't get over the line (not to belittle the mammoth achievement of getting into the top six places since PH took over).

I wouldn't aim the disappointment at the team either, it would just be another one of those ifs and buts seasons that we've become accustomed to - Covid backlogs, injuries (possibly as a result of fixture congestion), silly goals given away that have cost us valuable points, iffy refereeing decisions etc.
It's the injuries that really annoys me because it feels that this season is going to be a game too many (or two games if we make the play-offs) for a cobbled together team from a depleted squad.

Nah I choose not to. Makes for a better atmosphere when you've got near 30k people going in believing anything can happen.

Looking forward to it. Never seen us achieve anything on the last day.

Was too young for Leicester 90 and was in a caravan on the East coast trying to get a signal on 5 live when we scraped into the play-offs in 1998.

As Phil said above just enjoy it. Its competitive sport, highs and lows are a given.

Don’t understand this!
We have a good home record, their fans are arrogant flat beer drinking southern softees, and we already outplayed them and won in London.
They are the ones who should be nervous. :)
