Do you drive to Bramall Lane? Would you like to earn a bit of cash just for talking about football? If so, read on...

My company is conducting some market research in Sheffield next Tuesday [March 23rd] on behalf of a major football sponsor. We're looking for two pairs of United fans [must be ST holders] to come and talk to us about their match day experiences and thoughts on companies that sponsor football.

To qualify you [and the person you bring] must be 18-45 years old, a season ticket holder who travels to games by car and available between 6.30pm-8pm on Tuesday March 23rd. We'll be hiring out a room of a central Sheffield pub and each person who takes part will receive £40 and a pint or two.

Interested? Email your names, ages and some idea of what kind of fans you both are [been supporting United for X number of years and travel X miles to watch them] and a contact number to [email protected]

Do you drive to beautiful down town Brammall Lane? Would you like to earn a bit of cash just for talking about football? If so, read on...

I couldn't read any further than that either.

And before you know it, you've bought a timeshare on the Liberian Riviera.

I'm yer man mi owd marra !

Gentlemen, play nicely.

Paul had the decency to ask whether he could post this and I have no problem with it.

Some people might be interested, others may not be.

No problem with PaulF or his market research. I just wondered where Brammall Lane was and whether Shefmield United played there.

Fair point - loser speak erased.

It wasn't the 'loser speak' it was the incorrect spelling of Bramall.

If you do want people to take part it is in your best interests to spell our ground name correctly :)

Not doing very well here am I? Apologies and have amended again!

That's a bit ageist, don't you think Paul? OK, you wouldn't want a baby in Pampers giving its view on Visit Malta's sponsorship at the lower end of the age spectrum, but how come some of us are too old to have a view?

I'd just like you to know that despite my advancing years, I was due to turn out for the Blades Legends v the young whippersnappers a couple of weeks back until the game was postponed. If I'm fit enough for that I'm fit enough to comment on the big screen thingy in the corner or wahtever you want to know about.

And I've got silver boots, so think on, I've got my finger on the football fashion pulse.......

Trigger, I 100% agree with you. Unfortunately the client I'm working for does not. They actually asked me to find 18-35 year-olds and I argued that having an age limit was ridiculous but they've only let me push it up as far as 45. Sorry about that but I did try!

If anyones up for this then I'm game. Just need a second person

It is not exactly ageist where market research is concerned.

If you are creating a product and you are aiming at a certain market, say a new range of dolls. You are going to want to speak to girls under the age of 14 presumably. This could be considered sexist too. But it's not really is it? Lighten up and look forward to a thrashing in the Inter Blades game ;)

Just to let you know, I have all the Blades I need now. Thanks to everyone who's shown an interest and particularly the board mods for letting me post in the first place.

Good luck for the rest of the season.
