Played for the "U21's" today, I am quite surprised we have managed to get him on trial. Currently a free agent, but has played 88 times for Greece and scored 25 goals.

Experienced player, aged 32, he has played in Germany, Greece, Holland and France, 300 appearances 70 goals.

We should only be signing him on a short deal if at all. No point wasting a wage if he isnt going to play and challenge for a place in the team

Not exactly been prolific in the last few years though.

Do we need another 32 year old journey man? Cresswell has scored more goals than him in the last 2 years.

Granted the guy has euro and international experience but I would be wondering why his last club didn't renew his one year deal despite scoring a handful of goals.

6ft 2, 32, slow as anything. I'll pass, we need someone similar to Miller not another big lad who is going to receive bugger all service from our shite midfield.

I'd have him on a short contract if Porter went out, otherwise forget it and get a winger, pacey striker, or please God someone to replace doyle and give Macca a kick up his arse to compete for his place.

Lets get his Euro winning team mate Tri Dellas out of retirement, he'd show Doyle a thing or two.
I know he settled down at CB but he would be a big phsycial prescence in the middle of the park he can also pass a ball which Doyle seems incapable of doing
