Any one who went today to S-Cunthorpe,what was he like ?

He did the Millwall home game a game in which Billy Sharp was bum raped repeatedly by Beevers during the game,if i recall correctly the ref did not give Billy a single foul all game.

How was it today for Billy is his arse sore again,i heard he was booked late on.

Thing is we are the bullies now;).

He was absolutely appalling CCB along with his Lino on the dugout side. The bookings of Hammond and Sammon were for nothing yet he failed to give free kicks for blatant infringements. The free kick on the edge of our box first half was a joke. He indicated to Bash that you can't head the ball when it's on the ground. Since when??!! The Lino was just shocking full stop for both sides. He made so many errors it was laughable

The corner for them that never went near the line never mind over it and the goal kick off woodford a yard away from him were particular highlights

I was towards the side he was and how he didn't give the corner was astonishing. On the other hand he couldn't possibly have seen whether it was a corner or not unless Brayford became momentarily transparent. Maybe not blatant cheating but shear guesswork at best

I think linesman gave that corner on the far side, about fifty yards away, ridiculous.

CBB nice to see you over here how you doing?

TBH I never get to hot under the collar about referees. Having done the job at youth and pub level it's a bloody hard task, you can only give what you see. Many refs seem to try and let grames flow by giving as little as possible. Game would be a lot cleaner and far less cheating the referee if a rugby style eye in the sky system to confirm decisions was introduced. A typical example was the Birmingham goal against Cardiff yesterday, players appeallled it was not a hand ball (although it looked 100% a penalty) but it clearly hit him in the face. Ref gave what he saw or thought he saw, a 15 second VT check would prove it and would have given Cardiff a fair result not a miscarriage of football justice.

Agree B56 with regards to rugby style VT being used but at the same time the officials have to stop guessing what they can't possibly see. The Brayford clearance which wasn't even close to the line with the Linos view totally blocked was a perfect example of giving something you think might have happened, not even what you think you saw. Officials have a hard job granted but the standard are plummeting alarmingly

Agreed. As long as a ref is *consistently* crap it's ok.

Some still wind me up, but nowhere near as much as they used to.

And a lot of the outrage is manufactured.
