I just wonder whether they really rejected 25m or close to it?

That wouldn't seem a very Norwichy thing to do, especially in a season they didn't look like being promoted, and especially after what happened with someone like Aarons - could have made 15m+ on him at one stage but now they can't

I think the price will have dropped this summer given they have openly said they want to sell him to partially fund a rebuild so it’s no longer a case of making an offer that’s too good to turn down to try and get a team to sell a player that would disrupt them mid season but rather negotiating with a team that actively wants to sell. But still yeah the price would have to drop significantly for him to be in our range but you never know depends how much competition there is for him.

I would be surprised if Anel would leave unless to another PL club, and also whether he would be attracting that many suitors at the moment. Class player, but he is still getting up to speed with things this season.

They have needed to sell him all summer. Him and Aarons were told they were leaving at the start of the window to finance the club but it seems there hasn’t been anywhere like the interested they anticipated maybe they’ve dropped their asking price. He’d fit the profile for us young with room to develop and increase in value with a decent amount of experience and a full international.

Nope but we do need cover/competition at CB and RCB plus I think he could cover RB in a pinch. There have been links to McNair in recent weeks who covers those positions as well. If it’s McNair or this lad then I’d rather we went for this lad.
