As some will have noticed on Saturday, the club will be soon hosting an evening to celebrate the aniversary of the Blades triumph over Watford and subsequent promotion in 1971.
For one night only, members of the winning Blades team will come together to celebrate the game and unviel never before seen footage of the match.
In attendance will be Tony Currie, Ted Hemsley, Alan Hodgkinson, Geoff Salmons, Billy Dearden, Frank Barlow, John Flynn, David Staniforth, David Ford, Colin Addison, John Barnwell and Eddie Colquhoun.
Stewart Scullion, who featured in the Watford side that year and went on to play for the Blades will also be in attendance.
More squad members are soon to be confirmed and SUFC are also trying to locate Ian McKenzie and David Powell - If anyone has any leads, please let me know or alternatively get in touch with John Garrett at the lane.
Speaking about the evening, John Garrett (historian and archive manager at the lane and all round nice bloke!) said:
The event will be held in the Platinum Suite on the 28th April 2011 and will include a complimentary drink on arrival, a player introduction, a hot meal and a Q&A session with the legends
Fans will also have the opportunity to have an informal chat with the ex-players and a limited edition print will be available with all profits going into the Legends of the Lane Museum.
Tickets cost £25 per person or £197.10 for a table of ten.
Places can be booked via the box office (0871 995 1889).
I think we'll definately be going down to what should be a good night!

John Garrett - SUFC said:The 1971 Anniversary Evening is a must for all Blades fans as exclusive, never before seen footage of the Watford game will be shown.
"The silent colour footage was shot by a fan from the upper tier of the Bramall Lane stand and is an unbelievable chance to see all three goals as well as being guided through the emotions and feelings of 40 years ago by the men who clinched the famous victory."
