McCabe has managed to oversee the sad decline of SUFC whilst claiming to have lost millions? a point for debate but I move on.

Is this all a grand plan to keep SUFC in the lower reaches of the football league for even longer in the hope that the crowds dwindle and he is left with no option other than to realise even more assets, merge the two Sheffield clubs and sell the real estate?

You mean he has a plan? I thought he just wanted the freehold?

lets have another go at McCabe - why not?

Presume he now becomes the reincarnated scape goat until the new manager has lost 3 games on the bounce.

I hate what McCabe has done to us in recent years and am prone to the odd conspiracy theory but jesus come on he ain't that bad

So his plan was to lose more money than the freehold is worth. He's a genius

Quite sure we would have a football club without McCabe, quite possibly one that would be in a better position than it us now.
Would anyone else gave appointed the managers that he has, sold the players at the time he has, failed to invest when on the point if being able to take the club forward?
The opening post was said in jest, but in my opinion we would be in a much better position both on and off the field if he would gave let go of the reins when we dropped out of he premiership.
He has overseen the worst period in our clubs history, whilst building a stadium that he now owns.it is now time for him to prove his intent and appoint a quality manager. We can look at alternative reasons for all of the managers appointed since Warnock, It has not been down to bad luck, but bad management and stewardship.
Hey it's a personal opinion, one to which we are all entitled

Yep and we're entitled to our responses!

Hey do not mind responses, it's a forum for debate.

Quite like the merger idea; us and Sheffield FC Ladies that is. Seem to have the recipe for success, unlike us. Sits back and waits for a few lewd and suggestive remarks.
