algebra was one of those equations when I was at school I just did not get ...ever.

But there's another one that's even more puzzling.

when a relatively modest investment in some decent strong fast players is all it would take to get us promoted ... When that promotion is worth way more than the investment just mentioned... When we have the right manager in place for once ... Why the fuck don't we make that investment . It really doesn't add up

I don't buy that " we don't want to go up stuff personally "

So... When we've known what the problems are with the team for at least 2 or 3 seasons, when we have people with money on the board who are business men and very successful ones at that .. And as I say the investment is modest and the return is bigger the FFS someone have some balls and sort it now .

If dean Hammond wants a few grand more than we really want to pay then pay it .

If bringing in Harry maguire or a. N other decent centre half is about cost then dig deep and pay it

If a fast c/f in a prem league or championship Reserve side is going to be a bit of a sting then take it.

You are very successful business men outside the postcode S2 ... So work it out it is really simple.

Is it me ? I just don't get it

Up the blades ( if we get it)

Just pay it is what got the squad in its current mess!

We want to go up as cheap as possible. In fact if possible we would like to go up and make money in the process. We are as serious about going up as Bury are.

What I don't get at all is that the board lose loads of money every year by being in this league then try and claw a bit back by selling our best player every season. Surely the most sensible thing to do would be to really push for promotion by spending money and thereby earning more money in the long run by being in the Championship

We have brought a lot of players in since the Prince came in but we have also been in two Cup Semi Finals and made about £4-5m on the sale of Maguire and Murphy alone. I don't think we have spent anything over what we have earnt. I could be wrong though

If the idea was the pay Clough off and bring in Adkins at the expense of any money being invested in the squad then I really don't know what to say. That is just stupidity at it's highest level
