Did anyone attend the AGM and if so was there anything of interest reported / discussed?

My season ticket neighbour went - he said it was the same old stuff.

He apparently asked about player recruitment in January and was told there would be some money to spend. He asked specifically about EEL and was shut down.

No one from the football side was in attendance and neither were any of the Prince's representatives.

To be fair it would be irresponsible to tell too much truth about EEL.
I've been a manager and the truth can get you into all sorts of trouble because it's misinterpreted with negative twists put on it. Too much communication can be like giving oneself enough rope to hang oneself.

For example the truth might
"We really want to buy him outright in Jan but his agent has insisted he wants to be the highest paid player on £12K a week. We simply can't afford it and are not prepared to take the risk until we know what division we are in next season"

This would result in the fans turning against the player for being greedy or fans turning against the club for refusing to gamble on a big push for promotion. Many fans aren't bothered about finances and want us to pay whatever it takes because it's not their money.

Or what about
"Chris Wilder is now having doubts about EEL's ability and is looking for a better more proven in the Championship targets"

EEL might not know this, so if he thinks he's not wanted then he may sulk and his form drops damaging our chances.

It was the SU Ltd AGM, the Prince has nothing to do with that company so that's no surprise really.

It's alright... I can't keep track of which company is which :)

EDIT: Does anyone have an up to date hierarchy for the various companies involved?

It's all avaiable for free on Companies House Beta Linz. Download or print.

i was there, some questions were refused answers e.g. specific player recruitment, EEL situation, explained why none of the players/coaching staff were there (they were all preparing for the swindon game), and i got told off by the staff for taking pictures on my phone
