yes others started bits but thats where the debt lies

It's a fantastic corner, granted. I'd suggest a better view for watching third division football doesn't exist.

Just to clarify, by "bits", you actually mean "all the rest of it"?

:)

You haven't moved on. You haven't moved at all. Everything's rosey. It always was.

I was referring to being an ocassional observer at the lane, not on here.

Lets forget the first bit. We're getting nowhere on that. :)

OK, sorry, I misunderstood you. Yes, our visits to BDTBL have reduced, but only in line with our economic wellbeing. My business is trading down almost 35%, my salary has nose dived and like many, the Disorderly's are really feeling the pinch. With my lovely positive mental attitude, we are gradually finding new business, turning the tide and building it back up again, but its a long and slow process full of set-backs. When the economy turns upwards then we will be a lot leaner and meaner, and it should all be worthwhile, (especially if some of my near competitors do the decent thing and go bust in the meantime), but right now it is relentless hard work to keep it all on the wheels and stay afloat.

Football and the Blades in particular is an important part of my life, but not more important than paying the bills and making sure the kids have shoes on their feet and a meal on the table. We have not reduced our matchday visits because I think the managers a pig or because of McCabes alleged impropriety with the interest payments or anything else. Just not enough pennies to come along every week...

the south stand was started in 96. do you think it was paid off on completion
or the family corner , built , needed paying for
new kop roof
the cantalever roof on bramall lane
the total recladding
the office block , which weve just sold to reduce the debt and the hotel

all part of the debt , long term debt

not one corner
it was 57 m due to the hotel and business centre , but selling them have helped reduce it to 32

Ah, OK. I thought you were going to say that you'd lost a bit of interest, so my alanis morissette song line will have to wait for another day.....:D

Fact is, though you consider me a "victim" - i've embraced our position and will attend more games this year than I have for a very long time. But a spade remains a spade (or water under the bridge to you).

Good luck with the business fella. You've got your priorities in order.

A few points - we didn't have much debt when he came in. Have you forgot the years of tking the piss out of the porkers?

The hotel and the business center aren't ours - so make no difference to anything.

The corner is the only real ground improvement he can claim. You'd have to throw in the academy - though sadly the fruits of the academy have only really offset even more debt.

Ground improvements are all a bit academic when your half filling the ground in the third division.

You can't escape these facts. We've gone backwards on AND off the pitch. So far, that's his legacy.
