SUFC.co.uk said:The Academy received some brilliant news on Friday afternoon, when England's forthcoming Victory Shield squad was announced, containing two of United's brightest young talents.
Callum McFadzean, who started in the 1-0 success of Wales at Huish Park recently, retains his place in the squad to face Northern Ireland at Chester City on Thursday 5th November.
The real plus comes with the inclusion of goalkeeper George Willis, who has been selected despite still being an U15 and is also eligible for the 2010 Victory Shield.
Academy Manager Ron Reid believes this is a massive boost for the Academy and hopes both players can prove their worth if selected:
"We are delighted that Callum has retained his place in the squad and thrilled that although George's ability has been recognised, although he is still only an U15.
"I am looking forward to travelling across to Chester and hope both lads feature."
