Abdullah, Bettis and Paul, please get out of our club

It's an unforgivable collapse that will cost us an incalculable amount over the next 5 or 10 years

We had to do so little to get over the line, and these fools weren't capable of doing it

This is what is incredible. The rest of the league were sorting themselves out whilst we grinded out results as we had some continuity. We were never great but had a lead that meant we only needed to be above average to get over the line. I really thought we'd do it with ease simply as the division is dreadful and any half decent side could get the wins we required.

IF (and it's definitely looking more like when) we throw it away I really hope everyone involved known exactly what they've done to the club. The fans will still be here in 10 years and still wondering how we threw away this ridiculous chance.

Yep. It's not just a normal promotion opportunity this. A lot more hinges on it. Failing will be catastrophic in a way it usually isn't. And that will be Prince's legacy. Harsh maybe, but serves him right

Hecky on the other hand can get back to being a quietly efficient U23s coach and pretend this never happened. He'll just be a lot richer thanks to that 5 FUCKING YEAR contract they inexplicably gifted him

Spot on

Today was just awful - the club will be a laughing stock , how to self implode , how not to run a business , how to write the blueprint of mis management from top to bottom , how to demonstrate utter indifference and complacency .

As it goes, I'm not going to blame Hecky , he got us to a commanding and seemingly unassailable lead with a squad who are clearly overrated and many living on past glories. He managed us through an unbelievable injury crisis and kept us at it. What he needed and had earned was support in the transfer window to finish the job . He got nothing . Other than to feel eternally grateful that we hung on to IN and Berge . He needed fresh , hungry , athletic additions - not five or six but two - just two. A midfielder and a forward to freshen up the squad and see us over the line. The guy has had one permanent addition to the squad in the last two years .

The Prince and his crew have potentially left the club in a perilous situation which might take years to recover from .

Its not over and Hecky has made some big naive mistakes - but if i was a betting man i would say that it is over and is unrecoverable based on form since the world cup restart and the resurgence and momentum of Boro (plus others)

What a complete fk up Prince
