A year since we last played them

March 4th 2019 the last of the trilogy of nil nil bore draw against Wednesday. Personally I'm quite happy not to be playing them for a while; with the exception of the Bouncing Day Massacre, they are usually tense, dull affairs.

March 4th 2019 the last of the trilogy of nil nil bore draw against Wednesday. Personally I'm quite happy not to be playing them for a while; with the exception of the Bouncing Day Massacre, they are usually tense, dull affairs.

They have been dull in recent years but there’s been some great games too - the 3-1 Oh Lord Michael Brown win at the Lane, the 2-0 Chis Woods win at the Lane, the 3-1 Bobby Davison win at the Sty.

Having said that I find derbies too tense and don’t miss them. Being in a higher division than the pigs is much better.
