thats the question many of us asked ourselves when Speed was given the job. Ok, his hands are tied, but at the moment we are playing without any passion, belief, technical ability or quality. We lack ideas and understanding - not to mention having a Plan B when we are clearly struggling.

Oh dear, Mr Heath mkII is looking odds on ............

I have to say I was less than delighted when GS was appointed manager - it seemed too much like the Club taking the line of least resistance once KB had gone, and that the Club had tied it's hands (or probably decided much earlier) by not allowing Swansea to talk to GS.

However GS is now the man in the hot seat and needs to be given every opportunity - and as this is his first job as manager and his ideas are clearly somewhat different to KB - it's going to take a while for him to get the club in a shape he's happy with.

Let's see what happens in the January window in terms of monies made available and GS's choices/ability to spend those monies well - before we start to think about whether he's the right man for the job.

I would be very worried if GS was shown the door this season - 3 managers in one season is relegation territory - and firing GS too early would make other managers very wary of picking up our "poisoned chalace" given our managerial record since NW.

i think we have to give speed a chance. I think he could well lead us to league 1 glory next season.....................
