A game of two halves

The Peterborough match again demonstrated one thing about United that has been there as long as I have been watching them, and it's that we always seem to have one half of the match wildly different to the other. Under Warnock you could almost put your mortgage on us playing our socks off in the second half if the first half had been poor.

Nowadays we seem to have on reasonable half and one totally shit one, and often in that order, rather than a bad first half followed by a half-time bollocking and a fantastic second half. The game against the pigs was like this, and I hoped against all reasoning that the first half had been our crap one. Alas, it was not to be. I really hope we can at least get back to the bad/good combination, but I'll not be holding my breath waiting.

I thought the first half was pretty even............and the second half even worse.

What would we talk about if we won every game?
Chance would be a fine thing.
Never mind it probably will not happen in our life time,or will it.
I believe in hanging in as long as possible and live in hope.
Wish I had a fiver for every time I had said that.
Come on it will all turn round in 2010 with all the new quality players coming in in January.

I have given up on this totally. If they hadn't already got my money I would be seriously considering 'picking my matches'.
Bet you wish we had a tenner for everytime we've said that as well mate !
