Been to the match this afternoon, and I think it was the right result in all fairness as Rotherham do have a decent team, and I for one will not be surprised if we gain a back to back promotion.

I think the current poor form boils down to two things. Firstly the players adapting to new principles, ideas and a style of football. Secondly the nucleus of the first team is shite.

I was very impressed with the new lads, Cuveiler looks a very football with plenty of energy and skill on the ball, whilst Jose Baxter was involved in everything good that United did, he had a couple of spells where he drifted out of the game though.

We are where we are though, and still carrying several players that aren't up to scratch. Out of the back 4 I would not be particularly bothered if we got rid of Hill, Collins or McMahon, and I think Maguire needs a rocket up his arse as we know he has got the ability, and the potential to be an excellent centre half but seems to have regressed over the last 18 months. I don't think much to Coady, and I think we carried Flynn again today and Doyle I just don't rate, upfront Porter was anonymous today, although LyleTaylor when he came on was very poor again, although thankfully we didn't see Murphy today.

I think the new formation does have potential, but at the moment the problem is that the midfielders don't seem to making the runs they need to when you play a lone frontman, but give it time and when Jose Baxter getting going I can see our form changing quickly.

One up front won't win you games

Two minimum and leave the fuckers up the pitch when 'they' have a corner

Thoughts on today, why do I always seem to get a wanker right behind me. He started after five minutes, 'Gerrit it cleared/forrard/get a tackle in/this isn't the United I'm used to watching/D'Urso you're a cheating prick etc etc etc. I had a headache after 15 minutes, till someone said 'For fucks sake shut up knobhead, which did the trick for a while. Why do these people bother to go to games. Then as the board went up at full time, he said to his mate, are we going and his mate said, no I want to boo them off!!! Honestly, I despair sometimes.

Brownie, referred to Rotherham as "we" in terms of getting back to back promotions. I presume one was at an advanced state of refreshment when writing that?

I was there and can say that we were pedestrian but went in one up from a good goal but applied zero pressure. Second half was what I thought the whole game would be like. We were put under pressure and could not cope. Once pressed by them adding a man further up the field we could not cope. Despite adding a couple of good players the same problems remain. We invited trouble by playing out at bad times, resulting in a goal. The worst thing was they should have scored but fucked the chance up but we gave them a second bite that went in.

Disappointing in the extreme. I can't see us scoring more than one.

Not sure whether to stick with what we are trying to do but fear the axe of weir as constant change leads to an Adams knee jerk appointment. Is weir a Heath/robbo/speed in terms of being out of his depth and trying something that "could" come good or is he a nightmare waiting to happen? I honestly don't know

I'm hoping for the best but fear for the future. Our passing game currently might be pretty but it's completely ineffective. We pass it around in our own half, repeatedly positive positions end up back at our own keeper.opposition must be laughing at us. It's so predictable and easy to breakdown., run at us and we crumble. The second half was embarrassing. As things stand relegation is a real possibility.
