• Prince has told McCabe he's putting no more funds into the club unless McCabe matches fund by fund.
• Adkins thinks the pitch looks fantastic but some of the players are complaining that its hurting their backs/knees because its too hard
• Jim's been staying away from home matches due to the on-going fued between Prince and McCabe

Could be a load of shit
Could also be a reason we've signed nobody
Who knows? Wouldn't surprise me though.

Not stirring anything, just relating that I had been told a while ago. Where did I say that Adkins was not telling the truth, he may be putting bids in, I was saying there was rumour of a rift between McCabe and The Prince regarding putting in money jointly.

7 6 figure bids could be 6 100,000 bids which total 700,000. The FA Cup money would cover that.

My post states that the prince is not willing to put any more money in unless McCabe matches the amount he puts in. There will obviously be funds in the club still, JM money and maybe FA Cup money, but that could be limited funds and the reason the bids aren't being accepted.

That one is old news.

Also I thought there was meant to be some major news in January regarding the ground, that's what people were talking about November and December time. This was from the same people who first mentioned the dispute between McCabe and the Prince over funds.

I would take most of that rumour with a pinch of salt.

Surely we could use a portion of this to pay off some of the players contracts that end in June,reduce the wage bill and then make permanent/loan signings?

Say there are players on 4K a week,16k a month,that would be 80k to get rid now per player,5 players = £400,000 £20,000 per week wages reduced opening the door for 2 or 3 new signings and a couple of loans.

If true this is a disgrace on McCabe's part.

What is clear is that he lost interest years ago. If he is putting off potential buyers with unreasonable demands, he is more or less ensuring the team he claims to support will continue to drift along in L1.

Pretty sure that's not true. It's pretty transparent it was a JV arrangement and the level of investment was agreed at the outset. That's pretty much as it was announced at the time of the Prince coming on board.

So the morning after the transfer window closes and we haven't signed anyone, does it really matter if we made a bid for anyone? The only way we can confirm there is money is by signing somebody. Nothing else anyone says or does apart from that really matters does it?
