A few in there I wouldn't mind for personal reasons.

I am in the mindset now that anyone mid table downwards in the premiership we could have a good go at in the cup. It's not getting carried away when you look at who we have beat in the last 12 months in cup competitions really is it. There are a few that I wouldn't mind beating in the next round for personal reasons and this is who and why.

Ball No 5 - Crystal Palace

It might be touching 18 years ago however if you was there as I was then you probably still feel a bit of the pain that you felt on that day lingering inside you. It is still frustratingly crystal clear in my head how David Hopkin picked the ball up and curled a peach of a shot in from nothing. We had no time to respond and do anything about it. A part of me still feels now that had we won that game we would probably be an established premier league team now. Every game we play palace the feelings get stronger and I want to beat them. I would love to knock them out of the cup.

Ball No 6 - Possibly Liverpool

A few reasons really. The Premiership relegation, the cup semi final, Phil Thompson, for the dirty barstewards that decided to spit at us as with left Anfield and many in more recent years. Would love to bring them to the lane and give them a seeing too.

Ball No 18 - Possibly Burnley

Not just for beating us at Wembley but for the disgustingly vile Burnley fans on Wembley way afterwards. Mocking and having a pop at every given opportunity. Absolute vile cretins the were.

Ball No 25 - Possibly West Ham

I know we claimed a bit back when we beat them but I would quite happily take it again. In fact I would piss myself if we got em again and beat them again. Preferably at BDTBL this time and we can all get our own Michael Doyle masks and do the Cockney walk.

Those are my choices anyway for settling a personal score, of course there are a few more such as Arsenal but the above please.

Wasn't just Wembley Way either, in the coach park they were exactly the same. Contrast with the Wolves fans we saw in Cardiff who were generally gracious and just happy they'd won, rather than being on the wind up. Huddersfield fans were decent too. Palace fans were the most unexcited after such a major event.

So the order of 'decentness' of opposition fans after our devastating list of playoff final losses is:

1 Wolves
2 Huddersfield
3 Palace
.
.
.
4 Burnley

The one Burnley fan i can remember that day, is a Scandinavian Burnley fan who we saw in the Euston Flyer at about 11 o'clock and we kept on bumping in to throughout the day. The last time we saw him was at about half 7 before getting the train back and he was pissed and wished us all the best.

Palace for me ,take 7 k again then roll them over

My order of preference is:

Villa away - Cheap to get to from London, easy to get to for all those travelling from Sheff and a nice ground. Plus my best mate lives there and we'll beat them

Donny away - I'm from there, parents live there and we'll beat them.

Any London team away - either a great day out or a chance of winning (or both) and I live here.

I've also been thinking Villa at home for me. Big name, will fetch a few, and I'd fancy our chances tbh.
