These are the final standings for our first and last seasons in this division and it made me think that if only these exact standings from this year happened 6 years ago, we could have left this division in no time. Not only that but this year 90 points was clearly enough to go up as champions as well. Mind the achievement just isn't the same when you don't get 100 points I guess.

However I'm not too sure how well we would have managed in the championship with Danny Wilson and feel we are well prepared for a good finish next season with Wilder.

Interesting Bournemouth in 11th and in 2013 they got promoted to the Championship. spent two seasons in there, promoted in their second season. I think we'd all take their position wouldn't we? but next year they need to win the Prem if they are to mirror Wilders future progress.

90 points and failed promtion, still looking at that hurts. But at least we have done it, we're secured promotion and has champions.

The circumstances at the end of that season could have only happened to us, but this season has pretty much healed any lingering scars for me, and I admit they were still there until recently. Being philosophical, things have turned out very well for us in the end, and the wait has made it all the sweeter.

Onwards and upwards, time to let 2012 rot in history where it belongs.

That said would we have survived under Danny Wilson and without the Prince onboard in the Championship? Probably would have struggled a bit I reckon.
