BIGGS/STATON/GIDDINGS/ HALL,
Now that their icon in life will probably be longer in charge of United, despite their Donald Trump style campaign to keep him in power, will they now criticise and be totally negative towards whoever the new United manager may be ?
Probably, there frightened of change, bit like the bladey blades fans.... sorry Wilder utd fans😏

That doesn’t make any sense at all

The upside is that they might dare start asking our manager slightly uncomfortable questions occasionally

That’ll be a first then. Why didn’t they ask Wilder one wonders? Danny obviously had a book in it, Ralph thinks he’s Brian Glanville in an oversize baseball cap, but he’s really 2025 Richard Keys, Biggs is well, Biggseh and follows sources Danny and Ralph and Andy has rather let himself down.

All backed the wrong horse more times than Paul Merson.

When they read shit like this, it must comfort them knowing that a decent portion of those that constantly criticise them are either biased Pig fans or children.

Or think their “journalism” is second rate? Or more to the point their misjudgements when deciding which way to jump? Why not stay objective rather than be desperate for social media likes?

If, as they say, opinions are my own, don’t get snarky when people don’t agree.

You wouldn't want to marry a woman wearing batty shorts, but you love a night with one.
Same same.

I don't get this Wilder shit tbh. Yes it's probably the time for a change but having respect for a successful United manager in the past isn't a bad thing TJ.

Will always be my favourite SUFC manager which gave me my best days supporting the club. Definitely a thanks from me if I ever saw him.

Cheers for the memories Chris 👍

Completely agree. You can want a managerial change without constantly spouting bile about Wilder, who really has done so much for the club and should he leave - will do so with us in a position worlds apart from the one in which he first arrived.

Sooner fans realise that local journos will do whatever they have to in order to ensure their bread remains suitably buttered, the better.

It's a dying medium (for better or worse) and they're hanging on by whatever means necessary.

I loved Wilder's first reign; it was unequivocally my favourite time as a Blade during my lifetime. He and the team were charismatic, the tactics were innovative, and the football was fast-paced with the handbrakes off.

I supported him throughout this season, calling out any fan on here who said anything other than how much he had saved us. However, the latter part of the season left me wanting a change.

What I and others began to notice was that we could never develop and grow under his management. Additionally, he was becoming one of the most disliked managers out there due to his antics.

I’m sad to see him go because of what he has done for the club, but we need to move on as a club from badge pumping, pub chanting & 1980s quotes.

I feel exactly the same.

Wilder's best season at the club without a doubt, we were doing so well up until Covid despite CW constantly picking a clearly disinterested Lundstram. I don't blame the Covid break and lack of crowds as much as we came back to play the season out with players looking unfit despite that we had good wins at the lane Spurs, Wolves and Chelsea but the away form dipped badly. The pressure was on and CW showed the bad trait of publicly throwing the players under the bus when in fact some managers had found a way to beat his 352 with overlapping CB's. Next season CW played the same system and got mullered he couldn't change. Looking back it all looks familiar to last season failed when the pressure was on but accepting no blame himself, playing favourites, ill discipline and more drunken antics with his hangers on.
I didn't want him back and with hindsight it was a mistake to bring him back then extend his contract, the same old failings came to the fore when it mattered. We move on CW had taken us as far as he could.
