At this point in time, other than Hendo, our team is virtually still the same as it was last season.
With the exception that Lundstram wants to leave, but Moose ( at least from his comments ) seems more committed to the club.
Why do people suddenly think we are going to collapse in our results ???

We will be getting another goalkeeper, I for one think Rambo is nailed on ( no reason other than I trust Tufty ),
Yes other clubs are bolstering their squads ( they did that before the begining of last season )
We will bring players in from out of the blue as Wilder has done in previous seasons.

Southampton have made two also. I still don't think its anything to be concerned with though. I remember it was about 8 weeks from the end of the season before we made our first signing last season in Luke Freeman I think it was. Obviously it won't be that long this summer because of the shorter window, but relatively speaking I think its similar but I think we'll still get the 4-6 players we need. Possibly one or two may not happen before the season starts, that's the nature of a window closing beyond the start of the season, but there was no other way this summer because of covid of course.

I almost started a thread on this - I think we might see a tweak to enable Norwood and Berge to both play in their strongest positions with another midfielder in front of them.

Everyone is struggling to get players coming in. No one is stronger around us than they were a few weeks ago other than arguably Brighton is White is what he's cracked up to be. It's going to be a crazy window.

We're weaker now as we don't have a keeper but I'm pretty sure that'll be resolved.

What a bizarre thing to say. So you think that the pigs and Man U don't have any issue in the transfer market? Man U compete with clubs like Man City, Real Madrid, PSG for their targets. Pigs complete with teams like the Dog and Duck for theirs (but hey they are still maaaaaaasive though

I actually agree with your other points. I'm very much a glass half full person. I reckon Tufty has a far bigger war chest than he's making out. It wouldn't surprise me at all if £40-50m isn't spent again...... 1 good solid keeper (Rammers hopefully), 1 x £10-15m striker and 2 x £5-8m others.

If it happens it will be the most telegraphed tweak in the history of tactical tweaks – we’ve been getting Wilder hints and pundit/press hints for months now. At this stage it’ll be more of a surprise if we keep things 100% as is – it seems clear that we’re looking at another non-defence adjustment, hopefully one that helps us create a bit more without us losing the solidity we have.
