we go again
one or two players bedding in, had we beaten swansea like we should have be in 3rd
dont get this seeing only us as mediocre, does no one watch the other teams
saw villa at ipswich yesterday utter wank and they are among the favourites
derby , not as good as us simple , on what Ive seen
boro and leeds look strong west brom might be strong , wouldnt count qprs strange second half collapse as them being magnificent
millwall and forest might compete but other than that we can better anyone on any given day
and still Coutts to come back, be like buying a 15m pound player

It is absolutely imperative that we get more pace up top. It is going to be a long hard season with the current 30 somethings front line and we will drop so many points that should have been converted.
Yesterday was a prime example. Numerous decent balls played across the six yard box but no striker with the pace to get far enough forward to benefit. We have no out ball as most defenders have our strikers on toast pace wise. There’s no point playing with pacy wingers who get up the sidelines and deliver to no one as they have out run them all. I know it’s not easy given how the transfer market has gone bonkers but we need to find a quality pacy striker from somewhere or we will make hard work of even the poorest teams in the division.
I also thought we were crying out for Duffy yesterday. Creativity badly lacking in central midfield. I know he was ill but he doesn’t seem to be able to play 90 mins when fit so we also need another option who can hold on to the ball, beat a man and control the tempo. Norwood has solved the Coutts problem and played fantastically in front of the back 3, Fleck linked play well but we need creativity in the center of the park. Leonard was certainly an improvement over Woodburn but still need another option.
Let’s hope these 2 loans come off and address these issues.
