November 16th, put back to noon on November 17th, thanks to Sky/SYP.

December would be good for us. The later, the better

Will we ever have a 15:00 kick off again? Or is it beyond the capability of man to cope with a relatively low risk event taking place about 2 hours later? It really is pathetic

TV picks means that's unlikely let alone police

Just being literal ……..

The teams first met on 15 December 1890 at Wednesday's Olive Groveground, with The Wednesday playing a friendly match against the newly formed Sheffield United that the home team won 2–1.

The first competitive Steel City Derby fixture took place on 16 October 1893 during the 1893–94 English First Division season (following United's promotion to the First Division the previous season), it ended 1-1

The only results that actually matter are: FA Cup played 9 times Utd won 3 lost 3 drawn 3, League Cup played 2 times Utd lost 1 drawn 1 and finally official League matches
played 119 times Utd won 43 lost 37 drawn 39 = played 130 times Utd won 46 lost 41 drawn 43 any other figures that have all of a sudden being banded about include nonsensical matches to make it appear its closer than it is.

The Wharncliffe Charity Shield in 1891 they won 2-1 and the 12 games in the mickey mouse Midland Section during World War 1 1915-1918 were the equivalent of the Sheffield County Cup. They don't count as either League or FA/League cup games. Try telling that to a pig though as they cling to the belief they are only 1 win behind us.

Happy for the Midland games to be integrated into the stats provided the County Cup games are also. We lead 21 -11 in that competition. Pigs are that desperate that they're likely to count up all the testimonial games over the years but they can't escape the fact we have won more than they have. That really hurts such a massiv club.
