19th on all time top flight table

Facinating presentation of the all time top flight table.
Despite our 2nd,3rd and 4th division periods we are still 19th.
Wednesday behind us from 1902- 87, and "big 6" teams such as Chelsea and Spurs only passing us in the 80s and Manure in 68.

We really were quite a big deal at one time weren’t we
Yup, before the southern and London clubs got going.

Currently 9 out of 20 Premier clubs are Southern, in 1920 only 2 out of 22 were
 
Wasn't Andy Cole still at Newcastle in 93/94? Thought he moved to Man U in 1995 ish?
 
I wonder how close Jimmy Dunne was to making it on to that 'Top flight goalscorers' video.
 

In 1930-31 season, Jimmy Dunne scored 41 league goals but "Pongo" Waring of Villa was at the top of 1st division scorers that season with 49 goals
with a name like that he should have played for piggies
 
Shows just how shit we’ve been for over 30 years….previously cemented in the top 10-15. The only saving grace is that lot have been worse.
