Match thread for this weekends game, here's thoughts from Bournemouth:

KEY PLAYER: Michael Symes
With Wes Thomas out of action until January Michael Symes is the obvious replacement, but he hasn’t been in the starting squad recently, only playing a bit part. If he does play it will be his form that could prove the difference. If he suddenly finds the same sort of form he had last season he is a goal threat. How he affects the game will also depend on what formation Lee Bradbury decides to play. If he sticks with his 4-1-4-1 formation, effective away from home, not so much at home, Symes is likely to become isolated and struggle to score.

PREDICTION:The Cherries are on a good run with four wins and a draw in the last five games. However that run has seen more wins away from home than at home. The last home game was a very dull 0-0 draw with Rochdale. Hopefully, Utd will be better and create more chances, which will hopefully open up the game. The new look Cherries defence is starting to look solid and I cannot see Sheffield Utd scoring more than one. However, with our preferred front man, Wes Thomas, out of action and goal-scoring midfielder Harry Arter suspended opportunities could be at a premium. I could go for a ridiculous, blinkered scoreline, 5-1, but a 1-1 seems a very likely outcome for us, but let’s hope our blinkered scoreline proves to be true.

What's their own goal ratio per match ?:D

Well he was right, we didn't score more than one. Good thing they scored 2 for us :)

My usual home match companion works in Bournmouth sometimes. He stayed down for this game and cracked up laughing about our new strikers.
