Personally i thought it was another awful game of football, and yet another game of hoofball.

We need a change of tack, and need it fast, and if a change of tack is not possible then it should be a change of manager.

QPR was there for the taking and we was not up to it

Didnt think we played as much hoofball today we had good spells of getting the ball down and all of the our first half chances including the goal came from getting the ball down and playing football.

QPR were there for the taking and a bit more composure in and around the box would have given us the win we deserved

Also thought Ched played well today im sure a run in the side will do him the world of good

The view on us from before the match from a QPR message board. In the main, I don't think he's that far wrong, actually.

Linketty link

There's a lot of text, so I'll not C&P ...... hopefully most who might want to read it will be able to click.

Always interesting to read how others see us (so long as they're literate and unprejudiced). I guess being a QPR fan makes him far more likely to be a genuine football fan than your average 6-0-6 plastic know-nowt.

Sure enough, he's really not far from the truth on most things. We generally play unpleasant percentage football. Warnock (and Blackwell) do moan a lot. Brian Robson was useless. And Ward is a decent player - perhaps our best to watch.

However, it really is a shame that the Tevez nonsense has tainted our reputation, for no reason other than people's attention spans were stretched beyond their limit.

How I wish West Ham's cheating and lying (now proven), and the PL's incompetance were how people remember the affair.

:(

I see no one has yet mentioned the "cheeky" chants of "let him die" from the QPR fans while Morgs was down in the box at the BL End?

Kent Blade said the same about the game at QPR. How we could have taken the initiative and gone for it, but ended up hanging on instead.

I thought exactly that yesterday. The lack of urgency and the ineffectual substitutions were disappointing. We're at home - just go all out attack for the final 20 mins. Why not?

Oh, and it was good to see Leggy hasn't learned how to pass. If he could he'd be a monster of a footballer.

Which reminds me... Who else saw Morgan's drag back to trick the two QPR strikers? Haven't seen the likes of that since a young Tri Dellas.

Morgan looked as shocked as anyone.
