Sheffield United have reportedly failed with a £2million bid for Crystal Palace midfielder Ben Watson. The England U21 international has been linked with a move to the Premiership with Bolton and Charlton both believed to be admirers. The Times claims that the Blades were unsuccessful in their approach for Watson - who revealed this week he is keen to sign a new deal at Selhurst Park.United did make one raid on the south London outfit this week, when they completed the £600,000 signing of Mikele Leigertwood.

He is a good young player from what i have seen. I dont know weather he would be worth more than 2 million for us though.....

wat about jags and tonge though? ait they prem class...and doesn't watson play in same position

watson is a good player tho

Correct Gez. Also Jags might be needed at right back or Tonge on the left so it could make room for extra people in the middle.
