Brian the Blade on P or G Monday

Brian the blade took offence to Paul Walker on Monday on PorG, when Brian mentioned Diago again, Paul said "that old chestnut" and BtB went off on one. He put the phone down after saying he would never speak to Paul again.
Anyone know if it was cleared up what his beef was? Not been able to tune in since.
 



Apparently, Paul suggested young Diego wasn't as good as he thinks he is and BtB "managed" Diego's Dad in the Premier League (Meadowhall Sunday version or similar), and thinks young Diego is Paulo Rossi Mark II.

If BtB carries his threat through, RS may get a few more tuning in given that they will no longer fear having to listen to that berk:)

Brian the Blade spoils himself and has become a attention seeking knobhead. It says something of the show when this bloke becomes a 3rd rate star attraction . Let's stir things up , let's give BTB a call.

If young Diego was any good Adkins would give him a go . Unfortunately time and other young players are passing him by .

Bit of a enigma that Diego , Brian bit of a pain and not remotely funny . Time that they both moved on , as with that shell suit wearing Mark the Pitsmoor Owl , who seems to have reinvented himself after the armed robbery at Aldi.

yes Brian s train of thought that as Diegos dad was a regular scorer in the Meadowhall Sunday league his son Diego , named after Maradona no doubt to increase his skill would walk into the Juventus champions league squad with out the need to knuckle down and train too hard. The fact Brian the blades players used to go to Josephines on saturday night as part of their pre match training and their healthy eating meant having salad on their late night kebabs meant he knows everything about football there is to know

Players that were relatively unheard of when Diego first popped up are now playing regularly. Whiteman, Reed, Calvert-Lewin.

I really would like to know what the problem is - is he not good enough? is he a total nob? a mixture of the two?

He told Giddings that he wouldn't phone in again a couple of years ago over something similar. The next night he rang in again and AG said he thought he wouldn't speak to him again. Bruno said " you make me sick Andy" and hung up.

Always been an attention seeker.

Thought Cosimo played all his football in the Chesterfield Leagues, can't remember him playing for Bruno, on Sunday's anyway. Good player and a hard one.

Think you're correct there Sean, Cosimo didn't play Meadowhall SL football as I recall. Played for several years for CSPO who were one of the leading Chesterfield SL teams.
Brian has lost it these days, he was always a gobby egocentric fucker, now he's just insane.
 
Hopefully, 'Brian the Blade' will stick to his word and we shall canvass RS to put Paul Walker on the 'show' every night, then we won't have to hear his inane ramblings every night - By the way is it me or do RS seek out complete numpties to phone the show - I find it hard to understand why people who struggle to put a sentence together want to ring up and make complete arses of themselves !!

I don't often listen but I did hear that call and it was a fair flounce, based on wht sounded like a misunderstanding, so no doubt Bian will be back, as self unaware and attention seeking as ever.......no idea who you're thinking of :-)

Brian is always going on about "Girolamo" and when he mentioned him on Monday, Paul Walker said "not that old chestmut", which I took to mean that the them had been explored previously. Brian took umbrage and said he was being disrespectful to "Girolamo" and eventually hung up. Blessed relief for the rest of us in my view.

Or Mark the Pitsmoor Armed Robber as he's affectionately know round our way in deference to his gun toting ways. He always used to start by (you know what I mean) a reference to The Blades, but I think since the oinkers are doing better, he doesn't feel that need quite so much.

CSPO was my work's team when I worked in the AGD.Their home venue was at Duckmanton Lodge Not all the players worked for Royal Mail but did Cosimo work for Royal Mail? I may have come across him without realising who he is.

That posh sounding knobhead is like Simon McCabe in disguise trying to back his old man with all things good . :D

RS is getting past its sell by date and needs a preseason clear out and start again policy . Bit like what we will witness this summer at the lane .

It's become a bit second rate , with second rate callers and presenters . No competion from any other local radio station has made the show go backwards , with having a monopoly on all things local football . In saying that South Yorkshire and North Midlands is full of second rate teams , so do we deserve what we get.

In saying that Radio Nottingham , Derby , Leicester are even worst , so do we , just be thankful for what we have got .

In a perverse sort of way , let's be honest we all look forward to it 6 whilst 7 and even more do on midweek match days.

Can always turn the radio off .

I can cope with all of these, but when Blackpool/Eckington Blade comes on I have to turn it down - he may well be the nicest bloke you could wish to meet, it's just the monotone delivery that depresses me. Also can't abide one of the Doncy Rovers callers who was on last night, he's definitely an optimist

well refereed in the Sunday leagues for a decade and remember a cracking cup semi that ended 3=3 and they lost in extra time when their defender got cramp and gave the opposition forward a free run at goal and Brian said I should have stopped the game , and I said what for , cramp , was at the Phoenix sports ground , Cant say I remember all 5000 players or so I refereed
