euro 2016 draw

Not an England fan but a mate who is going for the duration has a spare for 2 games ,so going for about 5 days.
 
Surprised this thread has been up so long without the customary "England are shit and made up of overpaid tossers, so I refuse to watch them and couldn't care less which group they are in"...

According to a thread on Pork Talk some while back, Blades fans are meant to be scared to display United flags at England games after threats from West Ham fans.

Any truth in that? I don't go to England games so I don't know.
 



I'm cheering on Northern Ireland, easy group for us. I made up a fantastic flag for the semi against our porcine neighbours and they nor West Sham would stop me wearing it. Met Plod took lots of photos in the tube stations though, I always smiled.

Pre draw I didnt care who england got in Draw as we got easy draw in 2010, tough ish draw in 2014 & we flopped badly in both. Obviously I Wouldve preferred Swiss or Austrians instead of Russia but I still feel we should progress out of the group but like 2014, result of 1st game will show how tough it will be. As worse case scenario we lose/draw to Russia then wales upset the odds & were forced to have to beat Slovakia to scrape 3rd with likely match v either Germany or spain

Fixtures have worked out well for me only problem for me would be final game v Slovakia. As I work Thursday evening so im in minority that 2pm fine for me. But I feel for Republic of Ireland & Northern Ireland as both countries have a huge mountain to climb before a balls been kicked
 
I was thinking more because we'd done double over them.with Swiss even scoring v us
 
Got tickets for me and my lad for Germany v Poland and Czech Republic v Croatia.

Even better news though was when the 2 games I applied for but didn't get ended up being Romania v Albania and Iceland v Hungary.

Just get yourself some of them cheap reading glasses, I'm sure it will help and maybe sign up for a humour bypass.
 
Always good to have footy on in the summer. Lost a lot of passion for England after our season in The Prem for some reason. Probably bitterness at supporting the players who helped send us down.

Just watched the 'Euro archives' on the BBC red button. I was still at school in Euro 96 and my memory always told me we were brilliant in that tournament but looking at it now we were good for two games and poor for the others. Spain should have knocked us out in the quarters

Still it was better Graham Taylor and his Wednesday contingent in Euro 92. What a shit team that was
 



Hmmm...........our 1st game is in Marseille.

England football fans - big ground - it's close - on holiday - booze - summer - Marseille ???? - got trouble written all over it.
