Time for him to coach his own team and leave us be!

Who is his own team??

Anyways, this question will have been put to him, he has spent over 7 years with the blades, he is very much entitled to his opinion.

I have a feeling if Jags goes it'll be for an "undisclosed" fee like Michael Brown's was. Anybody know what that actual figure was eventually? Wasn't it something crap like £500K?

If Warnock was still with the Blades there is no way he would be saying it is time for Jags to go. NW made his choice to leave so he looses his right to tell us what to do even if I do like him as coach.

But surely as a fan he has the right to comment just as you do?

You are quite right, If SNW was still in charge he wouldn't be saying such things. But SNW is now only saying what we all know anyways,

Yes, as a fan not as a coach (but then are we not all armchair coaches). Would it not be strange if Warnock were to pick up Jags for his next team?

It would be strange i cant see him moving to another championship team. :D

'Warnocks next team??'

Nobody wants him!

His downfall was always thinking he was better than he is, as is being shown other clubs just dont rate him.

Exactly.

I think when he left us he was banking on landing a job back in the prem.

I think the only job he may get is one at MK Dons.

Looks like Boro want jags for £5mil now according to the yorkshire post.

According to one report he's signing for Everton today or over the weekend.

Aye, it's on BBC rumours.

Think I read yesterday (maybe on the SUFC site) that it is only jag's who has requested a move.

Something on BBC website again strongly suggesting that Everton have "won the race" for his signature.
Be very disappointed if we only get £4m for him though, considering the higher amounts going around for players who have never even played in the Premiership never mind played as well as Jags did.

£4 million is a steal... should be £6million!!!

I wish people would realise that when Jags last negotiated his contract it was probably him and his advisors that would have pushed for a lowish release fee.

It may be one of the main reasons he signed last time around.

It then maximises his chances of an even bigger contract with his new club.

Otherwise all release clauses would be £30m.

just saying that £4million is cheap for him, so any team coming in for him have got him cheap.

£4million is far too much of a bargain, it's only £1million more than what we payed for Claude! I'd push for at least £6million.

think it is £4million. but i think we should be getting at least £5million for him

Looks like we are hanging on until the despite over the whole Tevez saga is over. If we did get re instated they couldnt use the buy out clause.

Sheffield Utd ready to sell Jagielka to Everton
tribalfooball.com - June 23, 2007

Sheffield United boss Bryan Robson is expected to sell Phil Jagielka to Everton this week.

With the Blades' Premiership status in limbo, Robson needs to raise cash to push through his transfer plans, who said: "It's incredible that there still hasn't been a decision. As manager, I have to work as if we play in the league we're currently in, the Championship."

United had wanted to keep hold of the defender in case they stay in the Premiership but, as that looks unlikely, Everton need to raise their bid to trigger a £4 million get-out clause in Jagielka's contract.

So far, Everton have offered £2.5m plus Gary Naysmith, but Sheffield United value Naysmith at only £500,000.

Wouldnt mind us trying to get as much as we can for jags and bringing in someone like Darren Ward.

£2.5 mill plus who? They can get fucked if they don't want to pay what we think he's worth. This is Bramall Lane, not bloody Netto.

Last time I was at BDTBL there seemed to be as many chavs as Netto :D

Being a racing fan, I had to giggle while watching Royal Ascot when it started pissing down, and the supercilious pompous arse who passes for a fashion consultant said "It will have to be the Burberry covers if this carries on.", or summat like that.

I thought, "Gangway E's on holiday then."

Who is that prick?? I saw him the other day, looks like a cross between Seb Coe and Shergar!! I wanted to put my Grey Nicholls to use watching him!

Daily Star says that Bolton have emerged as favourites to sign Jags.

Arnt they trying to blag him for £3mil ? Bolton can fuck right off!
