Might be because he wants out. Might be because he's not playing well. Might be something else. Worth splashing £10m on, on the off chance, when we're not exactly flush? Not for me. If we had shed loads of money and could cover him if he's not great or gets injured again then I might well say different.
 
I hope he does. Then we can put this one to bed.

For £4m or so, he was worth the gamble. Any more, forget it. Tbh, i dont want him now, as clearly money is tight and we need other players. Players who produce rather than prevent. McGuinness and a new stapping stopper will do the trick at the back.

Don't think our bid is £10m. I don't know, but im guessing around £5m or £6m tops.
 
I’m really not that bothered if he does sign for Wrexham we need someone who is going to be available most games.

He’s missed a huge number of games in his career and will miss a month + for the Asia cup and other internationals.

8-10m is insane money

Is it though? They're likely to get promoted sooner rather than later. Unfortunately the exposure they're getting from the publicity, is going to continue providing them with crazy sponsorship deals.
And once they're in the premier league they'll get the riches and even more exposure

If. They can't spend, spend and spend every season. I don't see them going up and TBH I see problems if they don't get up this season.
