Unsure, always have renewed but I also love spending time with my child, I get far far more enjoyment out of that.

But then again I see my friends, so may renew to guarantee my seat next to them but miss half the games like this season due to kid activity.

Also 450 ...ouch, especially when it's main renewal/ bill time etc.

In my version… Step 1: Hand card to person who wants to go the game. That’s it that’s the end of the steps.

Your point as well about the elderly blades who aren’t great with tech, that alone should stop the £15 extra, punishing our most loyal fans for not being tech savvy ?

You just need a smartphone and to know someone who is tech savvy. I’d imagine 99% of our season ticket holders fall into that category.

If people would rather have a card, that’s up to them. I just don’t see why they have a case to moan about the £15 charge when the club provide a free alternative that is accessible to the vast majority of fans.

If you like wildlife and smaller ships with the emphasis on exploring the natural world , try the "expedition" part of Hurtigruten , now known as 'HX'.
Fabulous people !
We have Svalbaard & Arctic Circle coming next month , dates chosen specifically to avoid the PO Final weekend ☺️
After briefly going 2-0 up v Mackems last time , I decided to ensure that no such Wembley heart-sickener would ever again befall me 😉
I know of HX and they're good, however, on approaching the Lemaire Channel which had 2 icebergs restricting access, the Hondius got through but the HX ship Fridtjof Nansen, couldn't get through. We did! 😉

I’ve still been deciding the last few games whether to renew or not. Not sure if I should just remember the wins, such as the Hull game, or think about the rest.

Do I really want to come and watch abject performances like the last two games.

Should we just be like the pigs that turn up in their droves to watch any old shite?

It really is up in the air at the moment. Recent games are not giving me any encouragement.

"Should we just be like the pigs that turn up in their droves to watch any old shite?". WTF you on about. The majority of their attendances have been under 20K this season, footfall figures. In the last 50 years in the second tier they haven't averaged as much as us this season with the crap we have had to watch.

From the 9 of us who go looks like we’re losing 3 plus their 3 kids from next season , was surprised when two of them told us yesterday .. back down to 3 die hards now in our little group

I have now made the hard decision and its a no. It was a maybe before. I got a reminder email today from SUFC to renew. I'm just going to pick and choose which matches to go to and hope my season ticket seat won't be taken haha 🤞no body ever wants tickets in the middle of the kop do they... 🙄

That is unless United want to reach out to me and give me a mega discount, yeah? No? Didn't think so.

I don't have a Smart phone, but there is no way I am forking out £15 to get a bit o plastic.
So I've just been into town and bought a new phone,it might have cost me just north of £1200 but we have to draw the line somewhere.
I urge others to do the same. 😁

Remember - you need my magic beans to power it!

I'm just wondering how many people will be getting a season ticket for 26-27 lots of people seem to be undecided for various reasons, cost being one but also the direction the club is going and the entertainment value. Personally I see crowds being around the 25k mark next term.

Around where I sit there’s been a gradual decline of regular punters not renewing / attending over the past 2/3 years.

I think that for many football fans in general there’s been a dawning realisation that the game is skewed so much towards the multi million pound super teams, that the dream of winning and or competing is no longer possible.

Hence the general malaise amongst football fans, the only realistic hope of “success” is to avoid relegation from the PL - hardly an achievement.

Add into the mix the proliferation of live matches on television - you only have to see the effects this has on midweek attendances & the resulting atmosphere, then it is easy to understand why so many are becoming disenfranchised with football.

I think crowds are growing aren’t they?

You do know it is highly unlikely the Premier League will allow Spurs to be relegated, more likely West Ham or Forest or possibly northern monkeys Leeds. Watch out for some dodgy VAR calls in certain games.
As if the Premier League would allow 1966 World Cup winners to be relegated, that would be so unfair on the bubble blowing two hats.

Ken Jnr and I renewed.
Ken Jnr only went to about three games this season. Mrs Ken deputised using the cards we purchased to make it easier for us to do so. We’ve got cards again for next season too.
His excuse?
A 7 hour round trip commute to a game and the fact that he and Mrs Ken Jnr made a new Blade last year. 😊

Nearly 40 years for me but decided not to renew a few weeks ago. Got a few mates that are the same, too.

A game full of cheats, time wasters, bad ownership and money-focussed chancers. I already know I won't miss it one little bit.

Will always love United for the many years of memories and great times but I'm done in terms of going and spending money on it.

Fair play to all who who decide otherwise. Enjoy.

I said I wouldn't renew and I haven't. I will however pick some games to go to. With 30k points, I don't think I will have a problem getting home tickets. Senior too, so discounted. I gave my ticket away a few times last season so unlikely that it will cost me more than I would pay for a ST (£382). As others have said maybe a half ST if we are competetive.
