If Ched performed like he did prior to his (wrongful) conviction, then Ched. He was unplayable, the tactic was literally get the ball to Ched.

If it's based on performances at this level then either Ndiaye or Gibbs-White. Both had that ability to grab a game by the scruff and change the outcome single handedly. Match winners.

What we currently lack. Hamer is the closest thing but he doesn't have the dribbling ability of the two mentioned. Technically he's as good, if not better.

League one Ched. He never did it any higher.

Hamer is nowhere near those two. He's inferior at dribbling, ball control, passing and tackling. As for the physical and mental aspects of the game, such as fitness, stamina, dedication and determination then he's even further behind. By a long way.

Can't fault the suggestions of Currie or Woodward (for those too young to have seen them, take it as gospel just how good they were)..........but I'm going for the midfield of Duffy, Fleck, and the masterly Coutts as a threesome who would orchestrate our play in ways we haven't seen since.
