“As per information from our chief football correspondent, Graeme Bailey, EFL Analysisunderstands that Hamer had told his people in the last week to ‘find him a way out’ of Sheffield United.

He said: “He is not convinced by Ruben Selles, and this led to fresh talks with PSV, who were told of the player’s desire to move.”

Just playing devil's advocate, but that could equally be read as 'Sellés won't play me the way I like, so I'd prefer a move, especially given my personal situation'.

What bearing does our history have? We've got new owners. Unless you think there's a Bladey Bible that gets handed down through the generations of owners, that must be followed for fear of death, why would our historic approach to player sales have any influence on the current regime?

Bladey Bible 👏 👏 👏 👏 😆 🤣

His personal situation is that he’s here until he’s bettered Mousetts chip shops and takeaways visited numbers, even if it means he’ll have wait for frites, mayo, giant meatballs and Jenever.

I imagine most of the players right now aren't convinced.
They may think that it's too early to call it won't eventually work. But they must all be thinking we are not currently performing anything like well enough for long enough periods of games to be disappointed with results.

Not to mention seeing players like One and Cannon play on the wing.

Isn't that EFL analysis account the one that was posting about Wednesday or us 90% of the time at the start of the summer? Every other post was about Chansiri going or speculating crap like how they were going to sign a former Biesla favourite (even though they couldn't sign anyone). All misleading headlines with nowt but vague conjecture and mystic meg bollocks behind it.

Kind of like most football transfer pundits that spring up on twitter during the windows really.

Any account that regularly posts pictures to go with its stories that include question mark silhouette heads about mystery signings is immediately dubious for me.

Maybe the players need to understand that they’re also part of the problem. It’s ok saying the tactics are wrong but atm we look clueless and unable to do the basics right.

Selles isn’t telling them to forget how to be footballers.

It sounds and reads a lot like he’s coaching them quite hard in a new system and they’re either not getting it or refusing to. Couple this with his experience on management and stubbornness and we have our current position.

I think he wants to provide the best content possible for fans.

I suspect Shambles' motivation is more self-serving. I hear he already posts videos about himself. This self-obsession is what I hate.
100% the difference. Everything Ramble does is in the interests of driving revenue, whether through paid channels or views in the attention economy and that’s why he gets a rough ride from the non-gullible.

Said a few time that Nick & Hal’s video work is not for me, I’m not a fan of their presentation style, but I do appreciate that they are trying to present relevant information in a non-sensationalist way. Written work they do is very good.

Graeme Bailey is pretty reputable.
I don't mind that Hamer wants to go back to Holland, but the noises about Selles are a concern.
Reputable journalist but doesn’t he normally cover Leeds? Works in there favour for them to leak stories like this to him.

Agreed. At a time we need them to work hard, they're going missing, game after game.

They're not putting the effort in or managing to do the basics.

'Professional' footballers .... time they showed it

Did you miss that we’d replaced Anel with Tanganga and look like we’re replacing Souza with Matos? Gus hasn’t left yet.
Tanganga should have been brought in to play with Anel not to replace him. Matos? Yes unproven replacing proven. Gus is gone. Remember Dutch window shuts tomorrow not 7pm. Its wank. And again no one apart from Tangagana inspiring me that we'll dig ourselves out of the mire Selles is creating

We have replaced players. Whether they're good enough is a different matter but Bindon and Tanganga have replaced Anel and Matos and Somoure have replaced Vini. We've raised about £20m for them and spent about £15m in replacements
People have also spent a lot of time talking about finding a way to stop O’Hare and Hamer stepping on each other’s toes and are now wondering who the AMC is that’ll come into replace Hamer. Seems like it’ll be Alex Matos plus a winger or two.
