Yes, that is rightSilent, which of those was the goal by Woodward (I think) at 3.57 from a long way out. Was it the goal at Derby you mention?
Cheers,
TBB
I may have missed it but I did't see Brown's goal against Wednesday there!
I did see: Deane's in the 2-0 win and Whitehouse's in the 3-1 (double season), Tonge and Akinbiyi at Hillsborough (also a double season) and Deane's backpost header (presumably the 1-1 draw in I think 1993?). Have I missed any?
An explanation would be wasted on someone who rates Kevin McDonald as high qualityWell, I wasn't old enough to see anything before the 90s, but some of that defending/goalkeeping was absolutely criminal! You wouldn't see that in any of the top 3/4 divisions nowadays. Was it a case of the attackers being far too good or has the standard just improved a hell of a lot in the last 30 years? Any of our more *cough* experienced members care to answer my question?

When we had the YTV video in 1993 a fan asked YTV why the 7 goals against Ipswich wasnt included. They replied saying that the picture quality wasnt good enough. We wouldnt have been bothered by the picture quality as it is better than nothingLen Badger V ipswich I would've liked.

Cheers for this. My family didnt have colour tv until World Cup 1974 so I didnt know this until your post. In the early 1990s Saint and Greavsie showed Woody's 3rd and 4th goal (our 6th and 7th) and the footage was in black and white so for the last 20 plus years I had assumed that all the highlights of that Ipswich match was in black and whiteI think the original highlights of the second half had to be shown in black and white due to poor floodlighting - i.e. not good enough for colour telly at the time
