Exactly the sort of deals we should be after. Young, promising player with loads of potential, low risk so not catastrophic if it doesn’t pan out. At best, we get a player with potential to contribute to Premier League teams. At worst, he’s a cheap loaner we can forget.

I think the vast majority were far more proven than this. He's played 20 games for a lower mid table side in Portugal at 22 years old and thats basically it.
