We all love Jamie Murphy's skills on the left but who do we think is the Blades best all time left sided player ?

I agree, a travesty that he got his career cut short.Dane Whitehouse.
I never saw him play, but happenned to see him in his pub in Mexbrough, would he take defenders on like Jamie Murphy does now ?Geoff Salmons - did in the top division
Salmons had a lot of pace going past full backs but played in a deeper role in his last few seasons for BladesI never saw him play, but happenned to see him in his pub in Mexbrough, would he take defenders on like Jamie Murphy does now ?
I was checking out Gill Reece, sounds a great shout, it would be interesting to see stats on all these players like goals and assists, to compare who on paper is the bestGil Reece ,Beagie was talented but didn't deliver enough. Tonge had his moments.
Reece was more of a striker than a winger and he was right footedI was checking out Gill Reece, sounds a great shout, it would be interesting to see stats on all these players like goals and assists, to compare who on paper is the best
He did wear the 11 shirtReece was more of a striker than a winger and he was right footed
Not fit to lace Geoff Salmons' boots!'Course, none of our boys a patch on Britain's first £100000 teenager. Anyone care to name him?

Yep I was gutted when he went to StokeNot fit to lace Geoff Salmons' boots!
He played down the left though ,therefore a left sided player.Reece was more of a striker than a winger and he was right footed
The Cunt ?Neow--I'm on about the other T.C. from over there
He wasnt really often on the left wing to take players on. I am struggling to remember if he ever made a cross from the left that resulted in a goal. When Salmons attacked on the left Reece would go inside and was good at finding space in the box to head or hit the ball with his foot. He was excellent at reading Woody's crosses. A difficult man to mark and despite being slightly built he was quite strong in challenges. Sometimes Woody would take players on the left wing before crossingHe played down the left though ,therefore a left sided player.
Yes he didHe did wear the 11 shirt

Aye. His other name was Tommy Craig. Used to stand in the centre circle and make like he was Simon Rattle conducting the LSO.The Cunt ?
