Thought he was fairly quiet and that they didn't use him in the right way.

Also thought Halford was playing a little half-heartedly, how he escaped an earlier booking though I'll never know. Also managed to take the piss out of the officials big time by getting treatment a yard away from the touchline before curving a slow walk all the way to the half way line and off the pitch.

Is this a wind up? Henderson spent more time on his arse appealing for free kicks than he did on his feet when he played for us so why on earth would we want that painfully slow lump back?

I think it's simply down to him enjoying his time here.

Looked like he was trying his best not to play well against us! There were some very laboured runs and mistimed challenges. He just didn't fancy it.

Tis true. While he is limited etc, he has scored and been a pain in the arse of almost evert Championship centre half he has faced. A record of better than a goal in every 4 tells you he is good for 10 goals a season and probably assists as a target man.

I know many didn't like the player but as a bloke he never had a bad word to say about us. Why the tirade towards him?

The best games I saw Henderson play in, were against us. When he played for Watford, he had Killer in his pocket. Killer had to pass him onto Morgs who leveled him.

Halford was as I remembered. Decent footballer, tidy on the ball, but slow to react and with a large turning circle. Right back was always his worst position for us - he isn't a particularly good defender.

And I think that he has nothing but good things to say about us cos we paid him close to £3m in wages and bonuses over a 3 year period (+ £2m transfer fee) and got precious little in return.

Henderson was shocking today. It proves that if you don't play to the strikers strengths, you'll get nowt from him. Henderson scored goals for us - when fit or free from suspension, he scored goals.

He struggles with the ball in the air. He was the same for us, I commented it at the time but when Henderson played he was shocking in the air from long balls. Ball to feet, fine. long balls, shite.
