For a city the size of Bristol, they have been out of the top flight for over 40 years. I vaguely remember them being in the first division when I was a kid, because their badge was the last sticker I needed for my panini album. Oh, the simple pleasures pre internet.

They have a decent record against wilder at the lane, played two, won two? Fleck got sent off in a Friday night game, we dominated and they scored late. In the promotion season, they ran us ragged late on and won 3-2.

I work with a colleague who is a Bristol City season ticket holder.

For a few years now she jokes that Bristol City are mid table, then win a few to reach the edge of the play-offs.
Then they lose a few dropping down to mid table, then win a few moving close to the playoffs…..then they end up losing a few and finishing mid table.

She says she expects Bristol City to lose tomorrow but says when her team click they are very good and capable of winning against us
But the only think you can rely on…is their inconsistency. They’re probably a bit like Norwich City……can be good…can be crap.
