Fit and Proper

John Garrett's various books. There's a few Folklore and Fables collections

A History of Sheffield Football by Martin Westby is an amazing book about Sheffield football history

Downloaded "Mucky Boots: Triumphs, Trials and Tragedies of a Football Club Owner" by Kevin McCabe and Peter Beeby to my Kindle over Christmas. A few chapters in and quite enjoying it. No doubt he loved our club.

Not Blades related but also just finished Loose Head by the ex England prop Joe Marler. A good fun read into what a lot of the rugby players get up to on and off the field, and he himself is quite some character.

Made in Sheffield by Uncle Neil is a decent read. Not all about the Blades of course.

Football Seasons by Mick Bower. Fiction with the main character being a United player.

Ooh- Aah: The Bob Booker Story

Left Foot Forward by Gary Nelson was one of the best - not Blades related but it tells the tale of a year in the life of a 'journeyman' footballer
