No I'm in a relatively well paid job (well above the average ) and don't have to work that hard to get it but I'm also astute to realise that having a go at footballer because of what his perceived wage is irrelevant he can't help what he gets paid the same way you cannot seem to get paid more but rather than deal with your inadequacies you choose to take it out on a young footballer have a good new year

This is part of the problem, since we bought Brewster we’ve pretty much had Wilder and Hecky in charge. Hecky was operating under financial duress so needed to play him. Wilder is too invested in him playing games because he was part of the shitshow that spent over the odds to bring him here in the first place.

Someone coming in and having a fresh look at Brewster would almost certainly have handled his time at the club differently.

Some of you need to get beyond the salary. It's always the same, Beattie had a Lambo and you all had a fucking meltdown, just the same with Brewdog. He's a better footballer than any one of you slagging him off will ever be, he achieved more in the game by the time he was 17 than any of you will...then the injuries started.

We have professional coaches, a fairly astute manager and I can't remember an occasion where I've heard them give him grief but you armchair experts? He had a high profile, cost a huge amount of money (for United) and He's either been injured or looked like he's not up to the required standard. It's a pretty seismic event in the history of the club so it attracts strong opinions.

The fee doesn't really matter apart from the deducted points stuff. The ongoing wage and inability to use that on better players has been frustrating.

He seems a decent bloke but he's just not good enough for the top of the Championship. GLTTL when he moves on and I'll be interested to see where he ends up.

I think there is utterly no need to refer to a player as a cancer on the club.

Cancer is an awful disease, Brewster sadly is a footballer who for the past four years has been 'promoted beyond his ability'. Cross liking that to cancer is totally out of order!! I think that post should be removed and the poster given an infraction.
