I'm sure you're reporting what you've been told in good faith, I'd also be surprised if we haven't made enquiries... but Southampton won't let him out unless they bring someone in, or until very late in the window when they know they're covered.
A lot can change in the next 8 weeks.
 
Would be common sense and more importantly, a cracking signing. He fits us and we fit him. You can never have too many decent players and I think he hasn't really had a proper crack at it at Saints. Loan with a view to a permanent transfer would be nice.
 
I'd hope it's not a case of either or, but viewed as the strengthening of our goal threat which is currently very dependent on one player.

Given the usual arguments about injuries, lack of form etc, this would add competition which we desperately need. Keeping players on their toes is essential
if we are serious about challenging for promotion,

Told yesterday he’s bought house up in Sheffield in dore not far from the new training ground practically next door to it I was told a big house that stands alone an it’s currently having work done on it im not familiar with that end of town so i dont know exactly where that could be also he’s not settled down in Southampton

Apparently his missus is keen on Sheffield.
 
Has all the hallmarks of a Wilder signing.
Been here before, put a shift in, seems to get the club and like the club.
Cover different positions, so flexibility.
It covers the LW area and if he can find the net again, as he did with us before, he will be a good squad addition.
We need more options at the top, teams will find ways to nullify what we do now, we have to mix it up. Moore will give us that when he is back and BBD offers something slightly different too.
I would imagine Southampton would be very interested with a loan to buy deal if they could recoup most of their money. I think there is a good deal to be made.

I seem to recall that he was a lot more physical, in his play, than I was expecting. Not scared of getting stuck in and liked to let his shots go when near the box.

He would be a great addition in the JTW, if we are looking at bolstering the group.
 
It's a no brainer this one. suits all parties, he's getting injury time run outs or nothing at Southampton. Unless he suddenly starts to get more minutes, ime through injury to other players, then I'm sure he'll be available in January for loan, probably they'll want a loan to buy, either way we should be at the front of the queue and in my view we need a striker/winger more than any other position given it's currently young One coming off the bench who is still very young and inexperienced as good as he will be.

Can you please refrain from using language that is more suited to the barrack room than it is to a serious and sensible football forum.

Any more of this and a report will be finding its way to the administrators whom I’m sure will show no hesitation in applying the correct infraction
