West Ham I could see but depends - Lopategui not long for the club and they tend to spend

Southampton? No chance - they're us last season, and no one would loan to us (plus they're gonna change manager soon too). Also factor in what losing every week will do to his form and confidence

On the Southampton one, look at BBD last season, playing in a terrible team got him fitness, form and a move to a PL side. They could do the same for Ferguson (if they were nice they’d also send us BBD!).

Everton can and always have done whatever they want so there’s no way the PL will veto them doing anything (if they were feeling nice though they could send Iliman to us on loan and sign Ferguson on loan).

Ferguson would be an unbelievable signing for us as a K.Moore upgrade. But it seems incredibly unlikely he'll drop a league, even if we are in the race for automatic.

Unless nobody in the Prem promises he's first choice every week. Very very, incredibly, unlikely.

Being kept out of the Brighton side by 34-year old Danny Welbeck.....not sure that indicates to other lower half Prem teams that his confidence at that level is high enough for a relegation scrap.

Send him to a side in the Championship pushing for promotion where he can rediscover his form, bang in a dozen goals and go back fit and firing to Brighton in the summer...

It would be very good for the lad`s belief and confidence to have a few months in a happy, cohesive squad at the Lane, rather than at a relegation threatened lower Premier League club.
That said, Brighton would probably want a guarantee of a regular place in a starting eleven. There will be plenty of interest, that`s for sure.

Welbeck is massively underrated. Injuries were the biggest issue for him.

He was a guaranteed starter for England for awhile. Still going very strong in his 30s.

Point taken, but he's young, the weight of expectation can play tricks with a youngster,
so above average man management is essential if he's to become a special player.......either that or he ends up playing for Norwich.
