Im not in attendance as work calls tonight but from what I understand is that my lad is there with what he reckons is half of Year 11 from Ecco School, with quite a few Gruntlets too.

I was watching on the YouTube channel until it froze at 36.52. Is it on SUTV? I couldn’t find it…

Can only comment on first half first 36 minutes due to link buffering.

Below par display so far. Two senior players coming in may have affected team balance. Formation lop sided by having two fullbacks Waldron and Tinsdale playing as wide right and left behind Marsh. Marsh and Blacker have hardly touched the ball. One and Hampson on International duty.

S6 youngsters playing as I would expect their first team to play in November. Lots of men behind the ball going long but have pacy forwards that can cause trouble. Fuisre their number 8 has left JLT for dead a few times and the best 2 chances in 36 minutes have fallen to the blue side of the city. Team needs injection of pace and Francis off the bench may be the solution.

Very impressed with Luke Facon. Made brilliant save in the first half and some of his long passes down the right have been Cooper-esque.

Wish we didn't fuck around playing it out from the back with the keeper, it was happening just we got the pen to go 2 up.

Been a real poor game from our boys tonight. I see no reason to play Coulibaly at all. He is a terrible player. Much rather give other youngsters a chance as he aint getting in our squad. Missing the likes of Hampson and Oné, especially Oné with his pace and physicality. Just never had control of the game as its been irratic and many misplaced passes. Control last 5 out and get the win, all that matters.

When I’ve watched under 21s before, those passes from Faxon have been easily handled by his teammates coming back and laying balls off. Although in the past he’s been passing out to Peck and before that Arblaster. It’s all about development, and they have to keep doing it until they get better at it, because it’s so necessary in the modern game.
