...if it wasn't for those thieving magpies at the EFL!

OK, before some smart git points out the bleeding obvious that if we paid our bills, we WOULD be top of the league. But who would have expected this after last season's car crash of a season. Not me for sure!

Nothing is won in the first week of October, of course, but credit where it is due.

Leeds and Boro will be sterner tests 🙈

I
Dropping two points to 10 man QPR is more annoying.

The points deduction was deserved for not paying bills, can’t complain about that too much can we.

But we could be 4 points better off and absolutely flying.
This annoys me greatly. If Souttar and Cooper had played we surely wouldn't have shat the bed in that game

If we pick up points against the likes of Boro Burnley and Leeds there is absolutely no reason why we shouldn't be going for Autos.

I. M. O we could be just a striker or two away at present for being strong favourites to go up.

End of the day, we are joint top, despite having swallowed the two points already, and that is pretty much a fifth of the season gone.

The International Break I usually don’t like, but with the squad we have, taking a pause every now and again can’t hurt.

It gives Tom Davies a few weeks to get up to speed without missing any matches and he can add some depth hopefully when the busy year end period comes.

Wilder has managed Moore’s workload well and hopefully he gets a bit of a break even though he’ll probably have a bit of international action.

I hope we finish 7th don’t want to be anywhere near the premier league. Couldn’t think of anything worse than being in the premier league again getting battered every week.
We need to be in the Premiership to remain competitive in the Championship-at least until we have a new affluent ambitious owner

We are taking the yo-yo club thing to a new level. Surely now we must be an attractive investment to a serious owner

Clubs With the Most Promotions to the Premier League (Since 1992)

5 – Norwich City, West Bromwich Albion, Leicester City
4 – Burnley, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Watford
3 – Birmingham City, Bolton Wanderers, Hull City, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield United, West Ham United

24 more wins would see us on 91 points. In a lot of years that's enough for promotion.

One win at a time but a great start.

Shame. We will probably. Go bankrupt if we keep doing that

Well if that’s the case you won’t enjoy watching good players at the lane for much longer. Clubs cannot sustain paying players top wages without the parachute payments and the occasional (granted unenjoyable) trip to the prem.

You never know we might eventually turn into a Fulham/ Brentford.

And there’s the rub

We will come to regret not bringing in two more players during the window . What a fk up again .

How about stuck in the Championship or worse with no money while Wednesday over take us.

Incredibly frustrating when it felt like Wilder had Tom Cannon and one of Liam Millar, Mikey Johnstone or Jeremy Sarmiento ready to come in.

Hopefully we can use those two loan slots in January and neither JRS or Souttar get recalled.

Are you for real ?
Not going up means further player sales and less income.
We need promotion
We are a completely different team to last season. We've rebuilt a new team of young uns who will only get better. Credit wilder he addressed our defence , we have the strongest midfield in the league .
We would not suffer like last time in the Premier, 6 straight clean sheets is no mean feast .
Enjoy it while you can , we are unbeaten ffs .
Middlesbrough is the game I fear our first loss but full credit to wilder and knill

Too right,Would rather be a solvent yo yo club than a skint championship one.
We might even get a prolonged stay in the prem.
I didn’t hear many complaints about the prem when we were flirting with Europe for a while and finishing a very credible 9th place.

It’s a tricky one really. We need to get promoted for the long term future of the club, but last season was a pointless waste of time and if we go up we will get murdered every week again and be a laughing stock. Still there are worse things that being a yo yo club. Promotion every two years is fine. It just means one of those years is really painful.

Where are the S6 Massive on that list?

If I was Wilder I would be onto the Prince and seeing if there is any Strikers unattached that could come in and do a job because that is where I fear we could come unstuck against the better teams.

If we get a result against Leeds I also dare say we have no one to fear in this league.

Couldn’t give a shit what Wednesday do.

They’re your team….your hatred towards Sheff Utd comes through loud and clear. This is a totally different team to last season, much better with more potential, we’d perform much better in the PL and receive finances to ensure we keep all our best players and improve it further.

Regards our chances for this season
Midfielder is very good, probably play-off standard
Defence + keeper is brilliant, probably the best in the league, we just don’t look like conceding.
Attack has decent individuals but there’s no formula to make it work, probably mid table standard however playing Brewster as attacking midfielder worked well against Luton and we did look consistently dangerous, so maybe Wilder has discovered a new formula?

Still not convinced we can finish top 2 without finding a goal scorer in January but we’ll see, the Luton performance was the 1st time we looked a top 2 side. Let’s see if we can keep repeating those levels.
