Agree…..the DC fans comments are pretty much spot on.

It was clear Derby came for a 0-0 and hopefully pinch a 1-0 and to be fair in the 1st half their approach was working as they totally nullified all our threats.

I suppose from their point of view the disappointment was after they went 1-0 down they were still cautious and didn’t take any risks pushing numbers up. In fact don’t think they had a single shot on target.

Altho 1-0 would appear like a close game and we needed a worldy to score, in reality it was quite a comfortable and fully deserved win.

No, we need a good striker. Picking up a striker to score 15+ goals in a season is difficult and expensive.
I don’t expect us to add on in the JTW unless it is a loan for an up and coming Harry Kane.

Moore put a great shift in as always, constantly scared their defence when trying to win the ball back. Sometimes makes the wrong choice and I wish he could score but overall he's steady enough better than Brewster.

I don't think that's the answer. Our wide men aren't laying on chances for a striker to finish.
They're cutting inside trying to make an angle for themselves.
If inverted wingers are what we're insisting on, then we need more from Rak-Sakyi, O'Hare, Brooks, Campbell etc..

Here's the difference
In 1987 Derby sold the upper and lower tier of the Bramall Lane end when it held a lot more than it does now. They won the title and sung a couple of rounds of "We love you Derby we do, we love you Derby we do" and then they all left and went home.

Then a couple of years later Sheffield United went to Leicester, took over two thirds of the stadium, and we all know what absolute bedlam occurred

as for pokey ground now pride Park capacity only about 1000 more than the lane.

But the Lane has both history and has kept the stands as stands, not a lifeless bowl , like every other modern stadium being built now

Thought the same. What is bizarre is they could have said, they brought on three players from their academy and both would have been correct.

The BBC report says "The fact Sheffield United had... a superior squad with Premier League experience meant Derby County were only ever going to be given a finite number of chances to score.". They don't mention that we sold almost everyone who played in the PL with us last season, and then patched a side together on the cheap.
