I didn’t realise we took him on trial when he left Chelsea in 2019 and offered him a deal. He stated his Dad and agent weren’t happy with the terms so he didn’t sign.

This time around everything is done and dusted and his signing will be announced officially before the weekend.

As a fellow Leeds resident I can tell you that there is a lot of angry Leeds fans today. Mainly focused on Angus Kinnear who they’ve never really taken to and Victor Orta for the contracts they signed with players to convince them to sign when they were in the Prem.
It just shows the ‘just give them want they want’ demands from fans to get players over the line is not always the best course of action.
With 3 weeks of the window to go they will have to pay over the odds for replacement players as other clubs know they’re desperate. If they lose Rutter and Gnonto (which I expect them to) they will be left with striking options of Piroe, Bamford and Mateo Joseph - not a forward line that will strike fear into the opposition.
